Weekly Schedule

All practices at the Waterfront Pool & Fitness Centre, New Liskeard. No training on statutory holidays.

When registering with TNL, families are registering for a full program, not a guaranteed number of individual practices. While we make every effort to maintain a consistent schedule:

  • Practices may be adjusted, condensed, or cancelled due to: swim meets, coach availability, pool scheduling constraints, holidays
  • Following competitions, recovery is prioritized: swimmers who compete at meets will typically not train the following Monday

Our priority is always quality training, athlete well-being, and long-term development.

Fundraising & Events

Each family is required to participate in fundraising events throughout the season, keeping fees accessible and programs strong.

Monthly

Bingo

Held monthly (occasionally twice), a key source of club revenue. Two volunteers assist from 3:30–9:30 pm each event (three for Monster Bingo). Families who don't volunteer for a Bingo or two equivalent TNL initiatives are billed $300.

Ongoing • Monthly

FundScrip Gift Cards

Families buy gift cards for everyday spending — groceries, gas, and more — and TNL earns a percentage on every card. An easy way to support the club through purchases you already make.

Annual • via Swim Ontario

Swim-A-Thon

Our largest fundraiser of the year. All swimmers participate and are asked to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges. Volunteers help with timekeeping, supporting swimmers, and refreshments.

November

Online Auction

Held each November on Facebook. Every family is asked to donate an item for the community to bid on.

December

Movie Fundraiser

Held during the Christmas season. Each family purchases a minimum number of tickets, which can be resold or used personally. Volunteers help with organizing and ticket sales.
